Booking terms and conditions
The Spanish version of this document prevails in case of discrepancy.
These terms govern direct bookings of the tourist accommodation “Apartamento Torremar” (Calle Peñón de Ifach, 4, Edificio Torremar, planta 3, puerta 1, 03540 Alicante, Spain; licence VT-450557-A; NRUA ESFCTU00000302300036320000000000000000000VT-450557-A5), owned by María Teresa Pinedo Sánchez. By booking you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
1. Booking and confirmation
You choose your dates and number of guests on the website and send us your request by WhatsApp or email. We reply confirming availability and the total price, and send you the payment details. The booking is confirmed once we receive the deposit and confirm it to you in writing; until then, the dates are not reserved.
You choose your dates and number of guests, enter your details and pay through Stripe’s secure payment page. The booking is confirmed once the payment is complete and you receive the confirmation email with your booking reference. While you complete the payment, the dates are held for a maximum of 30 minutes.
If, when the payment is confirmed, the dates have just been taken by a booking made through another channel, we will automatically refund the full amount and let you know by email.
2. Price and payment
- The total price is itemised on the website before you book and includes final cleaning and applicable taxes. There are no booking fees.
- To confirm the booking, a 30% deposit is paid by bank transfer; we send you the details when we confirm availability.
- The balance is also paid by bank transfer 30 days before arrival. If you book later than that, the full amount is paid on confirmation.
- 100% of the amount is paid when booking.
- Payment methods: card and other methods available through Stripe (Apple Pay, Google Pay…). We do not store your card details.
- Any supplement for additional guests is shown in the price breakdown.
3. Cancellation
- Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival.
- Cancellations within 30 days of arrival and no-shows are charged the full reservation amount.
To cancel, email us at terepinedotorremar@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp quoting your name and dates (or your booking reference). Refunds are made to the original payment method. If we ever had to cancel your booking due to force majeure, you would receive a full refund.
4. Right of withdrawal
Under Article 103(l) of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), which implements Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation contracts other than for residential purposes that specify a date or period of performance, as is the case here. The cancellation policy above applies instead.
5. Arrival, departure and capacity
- Check-in: 16:00 to 23:30. Check-out: by 11:00.
- Maximum capacity: 6 people. Only the guests stated in the booking may stay.
- The accommodation is for tourist use only.
6. Guest registration
Spanish law (Organic Law 4/2015 and Royal Decree 933/2021) requires us to report the details of all guests aged 14 or over to the Ministry of the Interior. On arrival we will ask for each guest’s ID card or passport; check-in cannot be completed without them.
7. House rules
- Pets on request; additional charges may apply.
- No smoking.
- No parties or events.
- A €200 damage deposit is payable in cash on arrival and refunded at check-out after the property has been inspected.
- Quiet hours: 22:00–09:00.
- Please let us know your arrival time in advance.
- By law, on arrival we register an ID document for every adult guest.
- If you arrive outside these hours, message us and we will sort it out.
Guests are liable for any damage caused through improper use. Serious breaches of the rules (parties, over-occupancy, serious disturbance to neighbours) may lead to the stay being ended without refund.
8. Complaints, applicable law and personal data
Official complaint forms are available at the accommodation. These terms are governed by Spanish law; consumers may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence. How we process your data is explained in the privacy policy.
